With just over 50k miles on the odometer, this coachbuilt T-Bird blends rarity, presence, and plenty of character.
Exterior
Finished in bright red, this Thunderbird immediately catches the eye. The custom convertible conversion was professionally executed, and the power top still operates smoothly. The paint presents well with only a hint of orange peel, while the big chrome bumpers and hidden headlights reinforce the late-‘70s luxury vibe. The proportions work surprisingly well in convertible form, and it’s the kind of car you don’t see at every cruise night.
Interior
The brown interior captures the plush, personal-luxury feel these cars were known for. The seats remain comfortable and inviting, though a few accessories could use attention—the power seat isn’t functioning, the radio is silent, and while the A/C system powers on, it’s not blowing cold. The wipers and other basics work as intended, and overall, the cabin is a comfortable spot for relaxed top-down cruising.
Mechanical
Under the hood sits a smooth-running 351 Windsor V8 backed by an automatic transmission. It’s not a high-performance setup, but it’s plenty capable for laid-back highway cruising. Runs and drives very nice. The body is nice, but the has had a repaint and you can see some orange peel. Comfortable interior. The wipers works, AC is hooked up and turning on, but not getting cold. Headlamps work. The radio and power seat are inop. The power convertible top is in excellent condition and works great up and down. Clean title. Make this unbeatable deal yours before its gone.
